METAL FINDS

13 fibulae, 2 iron knives (№8-9), a stilus (№10), a cramp(№14), a pruning-knife (№11), awls, etc. were identified among the metal finds. All these artifacts were found in the upper strata, dated in the Late Iron Age – in the layer above the hearth in Trench III and in contexts around the wall. All the fibulae (№1-7) are of the type known as Thracian. The specimens from the site are made of bronze and iron with forms, popular in the period from the end of IV to II c. BC. One of them is bilateral (№4).
